HE the GCCSG Visits the GCC Joint Programme Production Institution

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), conducted an inspection visit to the headquarters of the GCC Joint Programme Production Institution in the State of Kuwait, today, Sunday, May 19, 2024.

He was received by Mr Shafiq Al Sayed Omar, Director-General of the Institution, who briefed His Excellency during the visit on the works and tasks undertaken by the Institution to support the march of joint GCC work, in addition to an overview of the future works that the Institution will undertake.

During the visit, His Excellency expressed his great appreciation for the efforts made by the Institution and its employees to support and develop the GCC joint media production and the distinguished qualitative shift that the Institution has made in the materials it provides at all levels.

He also praised the vital role played by the Institution in enhancing media cooperation between the GCC member states, appreciating the distinguished initiatives and programmes it provides to enhance the shared GCC identity, in line with the vision of the Cooperation Council to elevate integration and unity among its members.

Moreover, His Excellency praised the level of professionalism and innovation that distinguished the Institution in the production of programmes that reflect the values and traditions of the GCC societies, and contribute to the spread of awareness and culture among the peoples of the region. He also stressed the importance of continuing support and cooperation between all relevant parties to achieve more successes in the media field.

At the end of the visit, His Excellency expressed his thanks and gratitude to all the employees of the GCC Joint Programme Production Institution for their dedication and sincerity in their work, wishing them further progress and prosperity in serving the GCC media field.
