Majid Al Futtaim and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Launch E-Commerce Platforms and Expand into

Majid Al Futtaim, a leading shopping malls, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F Co.) across the Middle East, Levant and North Africa for its Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister brands. The agreement extends the long-standing partnership between the two companies and includes plans to expand the current store footprint, as well as launching A&F Co.’s first local e-commerce platforms in the Middle East. 

 

The scope of the new terms includes e-commerce rights for both Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister, with dedicated online platforms now live in Saudi Arabia. Each site offers a curated selection tailored to local consumer preferences, with Qatar ecommerce expected to launch in the coming months and additional regional markets to follow. In addition, the deal grants rights to expand the brands into Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon, marking the first entry of Majid Al Futtaim’s Lifestyle business into these countries.

The newly expanded agreement builds on a strong 2024 performance for Majid Al Futtaim’s Lifestyle business, which saw a 26 percent increase in revenue and a 31 percent surge in digital sales. Momentum has continued into 2025, with Majid Al Futtaim opening 20 new fashion and lifestyle stores in the first half , including an Abercrombie & Fitch store at the new Solitaire Mall in Riyadh, and plans to open more Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister locations across the region.  

 

Majid Al Futtaim now operates 105 stores and 32 dedicated e-commerce platforms across its Lifestyle portfolio, reflecting its commitment to strengthening partnerships and accelerating omnichannel growth across the Middle East.
