GCCSG Discusses the Means to Cement Integration of Joint Gulf Economic and Financial Action with UAE Minister of Economy and Minister of State for Financial Affairs

His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), discussed the means to strengthen the integration process of joint Gulf economic and financial action with His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Touq, Minister of Economy and Member of the United Arab Emirates Cabinet, and His Excellency Mr. Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

This came during HE the Secretary General’s visit to Abu Dhabi on Sunday (May 14, 2023) to attend and participate in the Middle East Rail Exhibition and Conference.

During the meeting, the officials discussed several issues of common Gulf economic and financial concern, in a way that contributes to advancing the Gulf economic integration process in accordance with the directives and visions of Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries.

Furthermore, His Excellency praised the great efforts made by the United Arab Emirates at all levels in supporting the process of joint Gulf action to reach the desired economic integration.
