Times Square Center to Host Japanese Voice Actor, Hiroaki Hirata at Speedy Swap & POP-UP CON

Times Square Center is excited to host popular Japanese voice actor Hiroaki Hirata, who will make his Dubai debut this January 11-12, 2025 headlining the mall’s Speedy Swap & POP-UP CON. Best known for his work as Sanji (One Piece), Vergil (Devil May Cry), and Leomon (Digimon Adventure), die-hard anime fans love him for his acclaimed roles, from voicing Johnny Depp in Japanese dubs to playing beloved anime characters. Hirata will be the celebrity appearance at the two-day celebration of pop culture for anime enthusiasts, featuring a dynamic mix of activities and experiences. 

Visitors can expect one-on-one meet-and-greets with Hiroaki Hirata, including an opportunity to get autographs, a cosplay competition, and an exciting opportunity to interact with pop-culture and anime lovers of the UAE. The cosplay competition is set to be one of the region’s largest cosplay gatherings.  

With free admission Speedy Swap & POP-UP CON will be running from 12noon to 10pm on the 1st floor of Times Square Center.  The event is part of Times Square Center’s dedication to providing exciting community events, where creativity shines and people of all ages can connect.
