HE the GCCSG: The Horrific Massacre in the Nuseirat Camp is Another Crime Committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces.

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned the horrific massacre at the Al Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries. He stated that this act is yet another crime perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.

In his statement, His Excellency emphasised the urgent need for the international community to take immediate and decisive action in accordance with international laws and treaties to halt these atrocities, which represent a blatant violation of both international and humanitarian law.

Moreover, His Excellency welcomed the recent decisions adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, including the resolution calling for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza, as well as measures to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to besieged civilians. He highlighted the importance of the resolution supporting the mandate of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to ensure the continuation of vital services for Palestinian refugees.
