A1RWATER Showcases Premium Water from Air at Yas Marina Circuit

A1RWATER™️, a global leader in atmospheric water generation (AWG) technology, delivered a groundbreaking showcase of premium drinking water this past weekend at the Formula One (F1) Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Highlighting its commitment to sustainability and innovation, the company provided over 75,000 Yas Marina Circuit co-branded cans of its premium water, sourced directly from the air to drivers and fans from December 6-8. A1RWATER also unveiled its revolutionary A1Rtower at the event, reaffirming its commitment to cutting carbon emissions, conserving natural water sources, and eliminating single-use plastic.

Supporting the country’s overarching sustainability goals by aligning with key country-wide initiatives, including UAE Net Zero 2050, the UAE Circular Economy Policy, and the UAE Water Security Strategy 2036. The A1Rtower, a first-of-its-kind atmospheric water generator and refill station, produced approximately 3,000 litres of water daily during the event. Designed and built in just a few months, it enabled attendees to refill reusable water bottles on-site and experience the innovative technology behind A1RWATER. The A1Rtower represents a significant leap forward in event sustainability, offering an efficient and scalable solution to reduce reliance on single-use plastics.

Sourced locally from the UAE’s skies, the water that A1RWATER generates never touches the ground. It is free from contaminants that water often picks up from flowing over the ground and through pipes, making it the highest quality drinking water. Additionally, natural minerals are added for enhanced taste, and the water adheres to the highest international standards. With recyclable cans, reusable glass bottles, and refillable containers, A1RWATER eliminates the need for single-use plastic, reducing carbon emissions from lengthy supply chains, energy-intensive water processes, and transportation.

To date, A1RWATER has generated over 3.6 million litres of water from the air, eliminating more than 7.2 million single-use plastic bottles in locations across the UAE, including schools, government offices and public spaces, preventing 555 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions.
