His Excellency Dr Jafar Hassan, Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, received His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the heads of delegations participating in the first Gulf-Jordanian Investment Conference, on Wednesday (December 4, 2024) at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
HE the Secretary General began the meeting by expressing his deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for his generous patronage of this important conference, noting that the GCC countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are linked by strong historical and strategic relations, and indicating that the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC, always emphasise the importance of strengthening relations with Jordan in all fields, and keenness to develop them in a way that serves the common interests of both sides.
During the meeting, ways to enhance economic and commercial relations between the private sector of both sides were discussed, in addition to exploring joint investment opportunities and exchanging expertise to enhance economic growth and exchange.
