Expanded presence in the Middle East region intended to help more organizations accelerate cloud transformation to unlock the potential of AI-driven customer and employee experiences

Genesys®, a global cloud leader in AI-Powered Experience Orchestration, today announced it has received a license from the Ministry of Investment for Saudi Arabia (MISA) to establish a regional headquarters entity in the country. Once established, Genesys Riyadh will be positioned to serve as an innovation hub to enable the company’s continued growth and commitment to the broader Middle East region. By obtaining this designation, Genesys has enhanced its ability to help all businesses in the region transform their customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) and drive key outcomes by accessing the benefits of the cloud, AI and digital capabilities. This announcement was made at The Future of CX in Saudi Arabia event, held at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel and Convention Center.

The Genesys Saudi Arabia regional headquarters is intended to function as a hub of innovation and collaboration within the Middle East and North Africa region, centered on three key pillars designed to help organizations advance the next era of experiences. These pillars include providing education and enablement; building cloud and AI expertise; and establishing a robust ecosystem of customers, partners and employees to provide businesses with the regional support and resources needed to foster successful transformation.

Genesys expects to begin operations for its regional headquarters in the first quarter of 2025, marking an exciting milestone in the company’s ongoing focus on its customers in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region. In addition, earlier this year Genesys announced the opening of its new office in Riyadh and completed its acquisition of Radarr Technologies, a leading AI-based social and digital listening, analytics and consumer engagement company with capabilities that have already been adopted by many of its customers in the region.
