HE the GCCSG Receives Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received His Excellency Mr Carlo Baldocci, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General congratulated His Excellency the Ambassador on his appointment as Italy’s envoy to Saudi Arabia, wishing him success in his new role.

During the meeting, they discussed the outcomes of the historic GCC-European summit held last October between the leaders of the GCC member states and the European Union. They also explored ways to enhance cooperation between the GCC and Italy across various vital sectors to achieve mutual interests.

Additionally, they reviewed the latest developments in regional and international arenas and discussed issues of common interest, exchanging views on these matters.
