HE GCCSG Offers Condolences on the Demise of His Excellency President Dr Ebrahim Raisi at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), extended his condolences to His Excellency Dr Ali Reza Enayati, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the demise of His Excellency Dr Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the delegation accompanying him, following the unfortunate accident of their helicopter crash, during his visit to the embassy headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday (May 21, 2024).

HE the Secretary General, while offering his condolences, affirmed the solidarity and standing of the GCC with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in these difficult circumstances, and once again extended sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the families of the victims in this great affliction.
