HE GCCSG: The Jabaliya Camp Massacre is a Heinous Crime Committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces Against Innocent People in the Gaza Strip, and it is One of the War Crimes They Commit 

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his strong condemnation of the Israeli military targeting of the Jabaliya Camp in the northern Gaza Strip. He considered the massacre at Jabaliya Camp to be a heinous crime among the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against innocent people in the Gaza Strip. 

HE the Secretary General stated that this despicable and cowardly crime, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of many, is a clear indication of the inhumane and unethical escalation by the Israeli forces against the Palestinians and a violation of the provisions of international laws, norms, and conventions, especially the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly issued on October 27, 2023. He emphasised that these attacks demonstrate Israel’s lack of respect for the international community and its resolutions. 

His Excellency reiterated the necessity for the international community, especially the Security Council, to fulfil its responsibilities and duties, including an immediate cessation of hostilities and the implementation of a humanitarian ceasefire to preserve the lives of civilians and allow immediate entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
