HE GCCSG: The Committee of Their Excellencies the Ministers Concerned With Housing Affairs in the Council Countries Significantly Contributes to Raising the Level of Cooperation, Coordination and Integration in the Housing Field in the GCC
His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stressed that the Committee of Their Excellencies the Ministers concerned with housing affairs in the Cooperation Council countries significantly contributes to raising the level of cooperation, coordination and integration in the housing field in the GCC countries.
This came during the 21st meeting of the Committee held on Tuesday (October 31, 2023) in the Omani capital, Muscat. The meeting was headed by His Excellency Dr Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of the Sultanate of Oman, Chairman The current session, in the presence of Their Excellencies the ministers concerned with housing affairs in the GCC countries.
At the beginning of his speech, HE the Secretary General extended the highest expressions of gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, Chairman of the current session of the GCC Supreme Council, for the continuous support and blessed efforts His Majesty is making, and to Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries for Their wise directives and keenness to advance and develop the process of joint Gulf housing action to achieve the noble goals of the Cooperation Council, represented in deepening cooperation, interconnection and integration among member states, enhancing the Council’s gains, and achieving the aspirations of its citizens.
His Excellency stated that the meeting’s agenda tackled various crucial topics that aim to strengthen the efforts towards joint Gulf housing action. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the impressive efforts made by the Senior Housing Officials Committee members in preparing for the meeting and wished the meeting a fruitful outcome.
