With High-Level International Participation .. the 7th Round of the Interpol Dialogue on Establishing an Effective and Multi-party Law Enforcement Structure to Confront Global Threats Commences

His Excellency Brigadier Mubarak bin Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the GCC Police (GCCPOL) at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), affirmed the start of the seventh round of the Interpol Dialogue on establishing an effective and multi-party law enforcement structure to confront global threats on Wednesday, October 24, 2023, in Abu Dhabi.
The dialogue is attended by Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol), His Excellency Jürgen Stock, Secretary General of Interpol, and His Excellency
Brigadier General Hamad bin Ajlan Al Amimi, Assistant Secretary General for Security Affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC.
His Excellency Brigadier Mubarak bin Saeed Al Khaili stated that organising this dialogue comes as part of the commitment to strengthen mutual cooperation between regional and international organisations, promote the exchange of information and best practices, and reduce duplication of efforts between major international and regional entities involved in law enforcement.
The dialogue aims to facilitate strategic cooperation and interaction among leaders of international law enforcement organisations, as well as involve field-level experts to ensure continuous exchanges relevant to the essence of the subject matter and maintain coordination and cooperation between international law enforcement organisations for the exchange of opinions, ideas, and proposals to improve the level of

law enforcement services and enhance cooperation in combating terrorism, organised crime, cybercrime, and achieving international security integration in the field of crime prevention.
The seventh round of the Interpol dialogue on establishing an effective and multi-party law enforcement structure to confront global threats is being attended by the Interpol, the GCC Police Force (GCCPOL), the European Police Office (Europol), the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers’ Council (AIMC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the African Police Cooperation Organisation (AFRIPOL), the Association of Southeast Asian National Police (ASEANAPOL), the American Police Community (AMERIPOL), the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO), the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), FRONTEX, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) IMPACS.
His Excellency Brigadier Mubarak bin Saeed Al Khaili emphasised the importance of this dialogue as an opportunity to exchange best experiences and practices in the field of law enforcement and adopt innovative and modern technologies that serve strategic and operational law enforcement. He expressed sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to the Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates for their efforts and support in launching this edition of the round.
