GCC Secretary General Stresses the Importance of Strengthening the Horizons of Gulf-Dutch Relations

His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with Her Excellency Ms. Janet Alberda, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Sunday (March 12, 2023), at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE Ms. Alberda extended congratulations to HE Mr. Albudaiwi, on the occasion of assuming his duties as Secretary General of the Cooperation Council, wishing him additional success in his career.

The relations between the Cooperation Council and the Netherlands, and areas of cooperation between them, were reviewed during the meeting. HE the Secretary General stressed the importance of strengthening Gulf-Dutch relations, and the strategic partnership between the Cooperation Council and the European Union, in a way that contributes to serving common interests.
