Thor lifts FIBO Arabia to new heights

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the towering Icelandic powerhouse best known as Thor, World’s Strongest Man, and “The Mountain” from Game of Thrones, made a commanding entrance at FIBO Arabia, currently underway at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. 

The 205cm, 210kg man mountain, one of the most recognisable figures in global strength sport and entertainment, arrived in an excited crowd, kicking off two days of high-profile appearances, meet-and-greets, and strength showcases. He will continue to engage with fans and headline activities throughout the exhibition, tomorrow Friday, 3 October. 

Celebrated for his elite career in strongman competitions and world record-breaking feats of strength, Björnsson’s presence amplifies FIBO Arabia’s standing as the Middle East’s leading fitness and wellness exhibition. 

Held under the theme “For a Strong and Healthy Society”, FIBO Arabia takes place until tomorrow, Friday 3 October, featuring over 140 global exhibitors, immersive live experiences, and expert-led content — all part of Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 commitment to fostering a vibrant, health-conscious society.
