HE GCCSG Discusses the Latest Regional Developments with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Particularly the Developments in Gaza

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with His Excellency Dr Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on Sunday (September 21, 2025) on the sidelines of HE the Secretary General’s participation in the meetings of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States.
During the meeting, several topics were discussed, most notably a review of the dialogue and strategic partnership relations between the GCC and Egypt, and ways to strengthen and develop these relations in various fields to serve the desired goals.
The latest regional and international developments were also reviewed and addressed, most notably the developments in the Gaza Strip and the serious violations being perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people.
Both sides emphasised the importance of concerted efforts to achieve a ceasefire, urgently deliver aid and end the crisis to preserve regional and international security and stability.
