HE the GCCSG: The Statement of the Prime Minister of the Israeli Occupation Forces, Regarding the Cutting off of Parts of the Territories of Sovereign Arab States, Constitutes a Direct Threat to Regional and International Security & Stability 

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the statements issued by the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation forces, regarding the cutting off of parts of the territories of sovereign Arab states, considering this a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, as well as a blatant attack on the sovereignty of states and the unity of their lands. 

Moreover, His Excellency stressed that such dangerous statements and plans represent a direct threat to regional and international security and stability, and clearly reveal the dangerous approach pursued by the occupation authorities, underlining the categorical rejection of the GCC countries of any attempts to prejudice the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab countries. 

Finally, His Excellency called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take a firm stand to stop these provocative statements and plans, and to work to protect the region from any measures that would fuel tensions and undermine the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
