GCC Secretary General: The Permanent Mission of the Cooperation Council to the United Nations is One Prominent Achievements of the GCC Course

His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), affirmed that the Permanent Mission of the Cooperation Council to the United Nations is one of the prominent gains of the GCC course, which contributes to preventing crimes, achieving criminal justice, and the use of digital evidence in criminal justice and combating cybercrime, including online abuse and exploitation of minors in illegal activities, by focusing on trends and challenges related to the legal, political and operational aspects of cybercrime.

HE the Secretary General’s statements during his visit to the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the GCC to the United Nations, on Sunday (May 21, 2023) in the Austrian capital Vienna, where he was received by His Excellency Dr Ali Abdullah Al Jowder, Head of the Permanent Mission of the Cooperation Council to the United Nations.

During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the duties and tasks assigned to the Mission, while he praised the efforts exerted by the employees of the Mission and their role in following up on issues related to the Mission’s tasks
