Chef Rudolf Segers appointed as Executive Chef at Rosewood Jeddah
Rosewood Hotel Jeddah has announced the appointment of Rudolf Segers as their new Executive Chef, as part of the hotel’s Ambitious plans to reinvent the Culinary and Food & Beverage Guest experiences.

Chef Rudolf has an impressive work portfolio of international luxury 5 Star hotels such as Kempinski, Hilton, Dorchester, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and Waldorf Astoria. In the past years Chef Rudolf worked for the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas and the Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park in Qatar.
Rudolf was born into a family of hoteliers, so hospitality has always been a way of life for him, and today, after more than a quarter of a century his career brought him back to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
His exposure to multicultural environments, different cultures and ethnic cuisine backgrounds is reflected into his cooking style which blends simplicity and sensuality, focusing on fresh and high-end ingredients. His passion of sharing his knowledge and experiences with others will create memorable moments for all Rosewood guests in the future.
Chef Rudolf Segers commented: “My commitment to good food and cooking began at an early stage and this passion grew during my travels and experiences working in incredible culinary environments that shaped me who I am today. My style is distinguished by focusing on fresh ingredients that create a sense of healthy food.
He continued, “I encourage others to explore, experiment, create their own recipes and develop their own personal style of cooking.” Today, I am very happy to join one of the most prestigious hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Rosewood Jeddah, and I look forward to welcoming our guests to explore and taste the most delicious and luxurious international dishes in this beautiful edifice.
