Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah inspects the progress of the Saudi humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip to support the Palestinian people

HE Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), along with the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, HE Osama bin Ahmed Nugali, a specialized team from KSrelief, and representatives from the Egyptian Red Crescent and the Palestine Red Crescent Society, inspected the progress and mechanisms for the entry of the humanitarian aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
Dr. Al Rabeeah launched a relief convoy from Saudi Arabia heading to the Rafah border crossing. He also supervised the preparation and management of the Saudi convoys at the warehouses and inspected the coordination procedures with the relevant authorities responsible for the entry of aid to the Gaza Strip.
In an effort to expedite providing aid to those affected, Dr. Al Rabeeah and the delegation visited the Rafah crossing and were briefed on the arrangements made, the size of the relief convoys, and the progress of humanitarian operations. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is striving to ensure that the largest amount of relief materials can enter the Strip as soon as possible to meet the humanitarian needs in Gaza.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, in a press statement, explained that KSrelief launched the Saudi National Campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip through the Sahem platform, in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. Today, the relief aid provided by Saudi Arabia was inspected, which included food and shelter materials, medical supplies, and ambulances that were transported via air and sea relief bridges. He stated that a total of 15 Saudi relief planes have been sent to date, while the load of the first vessel in the relief sea bridge has reached 1,050 tons. The second vessel will sail this Saturday, 25 November, while the third will sail the following Tuesday.
Dr. Al Rabeeah pointed out that the convoy launched today included 326 trucks. These trucks will move towards the Rafah crossing and then to the Gaza Strip, as part of the Saudi relief convoys that have been entering the Strip in the past few days. More convoys are expected to follow during the upcoming period. Dr. Al Rabeeah extended sincere thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian government for facilitating KSrelief’s humanitarian efforts to receive the Saudi air and sea bridges and transport the aid to Gaza.
At the end of his statement, Dr. Al Rabeeah expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their noble humanitarian initiative and unwavering support. He also thanked all those who contributed and supported the cause by making donations through KSrelief’s Sahem platform.
