HE the GCCSG: The 6th Joint Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the Council and the Russian Federation Produced Results and a Joint Action Plan 2023-2028 to Serve Common Interests 

His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),  confirmed that the 6th joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Cooperation Council and the Russian Federation produced results and a joint action plan 2023-2028 that aims to serve the interests of both sides. 

This came during His Excellency’s participation in the sixth joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the GCC and the Russian Federation, in the presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Foreign Ministers of the Council member states and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, which took place , Monday (July 10, 2023) in Moscow. 

During his statement, His Excellency said that the meeting discussed many issues of shared interest in a positive and transparent manner, and views were exchanged on many regional and global topics, adding that a joint GCC-Russian action plan 2023-2028 has been adopted, and it targets to bolster relations and exchange experiences in many aspects.
