HE the GCCSG Discusses Updates on MoU and Joint Action Plan with the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met with His Excellency Mr Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, today, Saturday, July 12, 2025. The meeting was held on the sidelines of His Excellency’s participation in the Dubrovnik Forum 2025 in Croatia.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral relations and opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides. Additionally, they reviewed the latest developments and perspectives on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the consultation mechanism, and the joint action plan between the GCC and the Italian Republic.

Views were also exchanged on the latest developments in the region and a number of political issues of mutual interest.
